An impact report is a powerful tool for showcasing the difference your organisation is making in the world. Whether you’re improving social conditions, driving environmental change, or strengthening communities, a well-crafted impact report helps communicate your progress to stakeholders and inspire others to take action.
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

From our experience of creating our own and designing others, here's how we approach it:
Before diving in, clarify the purpose of your report. Are you sharing progress with donors, investors, or the public? Understanding your audience will help tailor your message, tone, and data presentation.
Start with a compelling summary of your most significant accomplishments. Use clear, quantifiable metrics (e.g., “Reduced carbon emissions by 30%,” “Provided education to 5,000 children”) alongside powerful stories or testimonials that humanise your impact.
Transparency is key. Include charts, graphs, and relevant statistics to back up your success stories. Be honest about challenges and how you plan to address them.
Real-world examples bring your report to life. Highlight individuals or communities that have benefited from your work, using quotes and images where possible.
If applicable, connect your results to recognised frameworks like the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) or ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) criteria to strengthen credibility.
A well-designed report is more likely to be read and shared. Use engaging layouts, infographics, and high-quality images to make your report visually appealing and easy to digest. We can always help with this...
Stakeholders want to know what’s next. Outline your upcoming initiatives and how you plan to build on your progress.
Ensure your report is available in multiple formats (PDF, web version, video summary) and promote it through your website, social media, and email newsletters.
...And that's it. Hopefully not too complex and completely achievable!
Creating an impact report isn’t just about compliance—it’s about telling your story in a way that inspires action and accountability. Make it emotional, include your brand character, your employee voices and let it sing! Impact reports can inspire and motivate...and that's what drives real change!
